The Renata Sampaio Ferreira Building was built by architect Oswaldo Arthur Bratke in 1965. Listed as a historical heritage site, it underwent a retrofit that transformed its commercial use into a mixed-use building. Bratke's original design was updated by Metro Arquitetos, giving new uses to areas supplied by the façade's brise soleils.

Becoming a vibrant cultural, gastronomic and residential complex, the Renata Sampaio Ferreira includes apartments for short and long stays and is home to the Parador Renata, a space with a restaurant, café and bar, as well as a swimming pool, gym and sauna open to the public.

In the Renata Building, the furniture is a mix of pieces made with reforested wood by Metro Arquitetos and unearthed pieces by Lina Bo Bardi, Lafer, Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Jean Gillon.

With residential units ranging from 26 to 290 m2, the project also has a café, a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor, as well as leisure areas on the intermediate floor, also accessible to the public.
