ABOUT THE BUILDING
The building belonged to the hospital Santa Casa and experienced a history of occupations over the twenty years in which it was abandoned until it was acquired by Planta.Inc.
Through a careful retrofit process, the building was requalified to accommodate commercial spaces and studios.
Fully rented, FSMJ opened its doors in 2020 and has already managed to absorb the diverse and vibrant programming that the center of São Paulo has to offer, bringing together interesting names from São Paulo's creative and gastronomic scene.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
With the retrofit carried out in 2020, the architectural qualities of the original building from the 70s were preserved and the six floors were modernized and adapted to house various programs, from a bookstore, art gallery and offices to a restaurant in the former caretaker's house on the top floor.
The success of FSMJ only reinforces the city model that Planta.inc defends, which shortens distances and connects work and leisure to the urban experience.
